Epoxy.com POLYPASTE is a fast-setting industrial filler paste used for manufacturing,
fabrication and repair in aircraft, aerospace and other industries having
requirements for above normal temperature exposure. Fast and permanent
applications are achieved by POLYPASTE.
The service temperature of Filler 7 is up to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). POLYPASTE
is used in the construction industry to seal cracks for injection and for
patches used on concrete, wood, steel and other suitable construction materials.
Excellent
machining and finishing results are accomplished by grinding, sanding, scraping,
etc. When exposed to elevated temperatures, POLYPASTE
has a tendency to darken but does not gas, bubble, or cause any finish
distortion. This product does not contain wax and readily bonds to itself and
other substrates such as FRP/SMC, hi-temp epoxy molds, aluminum, steel, cast
iron, urethane foam parts, etc. POLYPASTE is non-metallic, non-conductive, and non-sparking.
Prior
to application, area to be repaired should be roughened and thoroughly wiped
clean to ensure proper adhesion.
Thoroughly
blend 100 parts resin (a golf ball sized mass) with 2 parts (2? strip)
hardener for 1 1/2 minutes in a clean dry container carefully scraping sides and
bottom of container during the mixing process to ensure uniformity.
Epoxy.com POLYPASTE should be applied by buttering onto area to be repaired. After
material has cured, the repair area can be sanded to desired surface finish.
POLYPASTE should be stored at a temperature less than 75
degrees F. Storage above 75degrees F will shorten the shelf life and render the
product unusable. The shelf life for this product is six months.
For industrial use only.
Keep away from children. Refer to Material Health and Safety Data Sheet (MSDS
form) pertaining to this product before using.
Avoid contact with skin or
eyes. In the event of eye splash or contact, immediately flush with water for 15
minutes and contact physician. It skin contact occurs, wash with mild soap and
water. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause skin and eye irritation. It is
recommended that the user wear impervious gloves and safety glasses with side
shields.
