In many instances petroleum can penetrate the surface of concrete floors to the extent that the oil may not be removed by surface cleaning. If untreated, this oil may migrate back to the surface to cause a delamination. SURFACE PREPARATIONConcrete should be thoroughly degreased and solvent washed. Create a profile with a wire brush, scarifying, or abrasive blast. As much of the oil should be removed as possible. Surface must be sound. All loose or soft concrete must be removed. MIXING INSTRUCTIONSTemperature of Epoxy.com Product #201 Epoxy Oil Stop Primer - For Oil Saturated Concrete must be 60°F or above at time of mixing. Stir each component separately before blending. Pour Part A into a clean container and add Part B Stir for three minutes with a low speed electric drill motor equipped with a mixing paddle. Immediately begin application. APPLICATIONEpoxy.com Product #201 Epoxy Oil Stop Primer - For Oil Saturated Concrete can be applied with brush, or 3/8" nap roller. Apply Epoxy.com Product #201 Epoxy Oil Stop Primer at a rate of 200-320 SF per gallon. SAFETY PRECAUTIONSProlonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin irritation. If contact occurs, wash immediately and seek medical help. Use safety glasses with side shields and wear protective rubber gloves. CLEANINGAll tools and equipment should be cleaned before the system gels. Use MEK, Acetone, or any lacquer solvent.
